Tacticalyellowvisor.net is the home of rob_s and is the place to come to find reviews, commentary, raw data, and other information relating to the defensive application of firearms by a non-law enforcement civilian.
While some information may be applicable for military and law enforcement purposes, the primary focus of this site, and it's owner, is the building, competing, and training with handguns and rifles as pertains to self, family, and homeland defense. This information, and opinions derived from same, has been developed in my use of defense-oriented firearms in various matches and training classes over the years and continues to evolve with each event.
I am not "married" to any piece of equipment and am willing to try anything (within reason) at least once. It it doesn't work, slows me down, makes me miss, or is unduly heavy, then I trash it.
