It dawned on me that several of the "reviews" that I have posted aren't really reviews at all, or they aren't really reviews of any one product or collection of products, but are actual personally-owned firearms that I have bought, shot, worked on, and made changes to over time with actual use.  Since this progression is a HUGE part of what I am always suggesting to new shooters/buyers, it seemed appropriate to break these things out as separate items.  Caution: these articles will tend to be LONG as they represent sometimes literally years of evolution of a particular firearm.  On the right hand side of each page you will find date codes so that you can track the evolution by date and see the most recent update at the bottom of the page.
