US Grunt Gear 10 Mag Purse

20100722 I sent US Grunt Gear the following request. Quote: I just want one, single pouch. A handle on the top to carry the pouch would be good. Big enough to hold 10 Pmags side-by side. I want it to be as streamlined, lightweight, and simple as possible. No MOLLE, no extra map or side pouches, etc. I also asked for non-tactical colors and he had a blue that matched my blue Eagle discrete bag. I wanted a shoulder strap but it needed to be removable. I wanted this bag for a few reasons. One is that our range does not allow vehicles to remain parked on the range anymore so I have to carry everything in when in the past I operated out of my personal vehicle. With this purse and my Eagle discrete bag I can carry my rifle, my chest rig, and the magazines i need out to the range for a match or drills. If I need more gear I have a rolling tool box that I take out to the range and I can disconnect the shoulder strap from the purse and put the bag in the box. Finally, for classes, I can carry the Mag Purse out to the line and have some extra backup ammo there with me.  Today I went and picked up the bag, and this is the end result. I am very happy with this bag so far as it is exactly what I envisioned but with the kind of little tweaks I've come to expect from USGG.  USGG has indicated that they will be selling this bag, in tactical or non-tactical colors, for $50.  Contact them directly for ordering or for custom options. Staggering orientation of magazines is not necessary USGG 10 Mag Purse - Closed Top - Full Strap is fully removable with clips on either end of the bag. Curved shoulder pad provides increased comfort for heavy load.
